Lead Qualifier / Telemarketer

iCandy Design is seeking to appoint a high performing, enthusiastic and highly motivated office based lead qualifier / telemarketer.

Location: Andover Hours: Minimum 16 hours up to 37.5 hours, Mon – Fri 9am-5:30pm
The Role

You will endeavour to qualify new leads from our CRM for the New Business team to pursue and the duties of the role will include:

Instigate outbound telephone calls, working from our Customer Relationship Management database, in order to identify potential clients with a need to use a creative marketing and design service to support their marketing requirements. You will need to ascertain their requirements, gather information and verify their details. 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Have a desire to pick up the phone and instigate a high level of outbound cold calls
  • Contact businesses by telephone to promote our creative marketing and design services
  • Ascertain the business needs for the client in relation to the use of our services.
  • Know how to probe and ask questions to yield best information
  • Identify the right type of potential requirement which can be passed over to New Business Development Manager (for further qualification and future management)
  • Explain the service to potential customers
  • Proficient in generating quality leads that meet our criteria
  • Possess poise and confidence and the ability to think quickly
  • Adjust sales pitch to meet needs of specific companies
  • Handle customer questions
  • Obtain customer information including names and addresses, likely requirements etc
  • Record customer details including reaction to the service offered
  • Build up a rapport with potential clients over the phone through regular contact, to encourage work
  • Input and keep up to date call history on CRM system
  • Schedule future calls to encourage new business
  • Contact customers to follow up on initial interaction
  • Must have at least 12 months cold calling experience
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies desired
  • Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications
