New Business Development Manager

Location: Andover, Hampshire Hours: Part-time or Full-time

Due to continued growth iCandy Design is recruiting for an enthusiastic and highly motivated New Business Development Manager to join its well-established and friendly team.

As a New Business Development Manager, you’ll build new opportunities using outbound and inbound sales techniques. In addition, you will develop a working technical knowledge of iCandy Design to ensure you can accurately sell our services to our prospects and clients.

This role will see you building and maintaining an ongoing sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets from new business acquisition. You will also be involved with up-sell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new business opportunities
  • Working with our marketing team to develop & explore new market opportunities & growth areas
  • Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Have a good understanding of the business’s products or services and be able to advise others about them
  • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
  • Seek ways of improving the way the business operates

The successful candidate should:

  • Demonstrate a successful results-driven track record in sales
  • Ability to work independently and use your own initiative to target, profile and engage clients
  • Drive and manage new business opportunities through sales processes
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Exhibit fantastic attention to detail
  • Be approachable and friendly

Desirable:

  • Have experience in Digital Marketing and Website Development
  • Have expertise in CRM / Pipeline management software
